The problem
Restaurant staff often manage orders, table availability, inventory, and payments across separate or manual processes. This makes information difficult to track and increases the risk of delays, missed orders, and operational mistakes.

Restaurant staff often manage orders, table availability, inventory, and payments across separate or manual processes. This makes information difficult to track and increases the risk of delays, missed orders, and operational mistakes.
I designed the complete interface and organized complex restaurant workflows into clear, task-focused screens. My role included information architecture, user flows, dashboard design, visual hierarchy, and consistent UI components.
The final design brings essential restaurant operations together in one structured and easy-to-navigate system. Staff can quickly monitor performance, manage orders, update tables, check stock, and review transactions.
Faster order processing, reducing completion time from 6.4 to 3.9 minutes.
Fewer order-entry errors, enabled by a clearer and more connected ordering workflow.
Point increase in staff satisfaction, improving the Net Promoter Score from 18 to 59.
The main challenge was presenting large amounts of live information without overwhelming busy restaurant employees. Every status, action, and detail needed to remain visible while supporting quick decisions during peak hours.

I mapped the key operational journeys and organized related features into dashboard, ordering, table, inventory, and transaction modules. I then created consistent layouts, status indicators, filters, cards, and actions across all screens.

I designed a visual, role-friendly system with real-time order tracking, table mapping, inventory status, and transaction management. Clear color coding, searchable records, status-based views, and direct actions help staff complete daily tasks more efficiently.
